Statement of Attainment in Firearms
This course will create the opportunity for employment in specialist areas of the security industry that will require the carriage of weapons. You will gain critical skills and knowledge required in developing and carrying out armed security escorts and cash in transit operational duties, self-defense and the defense of others. A requirement for this course this course is the satisfactory completion of your certificate II security operations and cash in transit courses. The course will be face to face for five days Monday to Friday plus online/self-paced pre-course material. Students will be required to complete after hours of research and case studies.

This course will require the participation of all students in practical scenarios, team assignments, and practical demonstrations. This course is a hands on course that teaches the safe handling and cartage of weapons.
