Certificate III InFirearms

This course will create the opportunity for employment in specialist areas of the security industry that will require the carriage of weapons. You will gain critical skills and knowledge required in developing and carrying out armed security escorts and cash in transit operational duties, self-defence and the defence of others. A requirement for this course this course is the satisfactory completion of your certificate II security operations and cash in transit courses.

CPPSEC2003B - Work effectively in the security industry
CPPSEC3002A - Manage conflict through negotiation
CPPSEC3003A - Determine response to security risk situation
CPPSEC3007A - Maintain security of environment
CPPSEC3008A - Control security risk using firearms
CPPSEC3013A - Control persons using empty hand techniques
CPPSEC3014A - Control persons using batons
CPPSEC3015A - Restrain persons using handcuff
This course will require the participation of all students in practical scenarios, team assignments and practical demonstrations.  This course is a hands on course that teaches the safe handling and cartage of weapons.
